During the Covid-19 pandemic, PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari (PNEP) has implemented several programs to assist the government in handling and controlling Covid-19. From giving the first dose of vaccine and the second dose in Gresik to giving a booster in Surabaya. Since August 8, 2022, PNEP has officially become a public company and is listed on the Stock Exchange with the issuer code ELPI which marks the re-branding from PNEP to ELPI by carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities titled ELPI Sharing-ELPI Caring.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the world economy. The business line collapsed, causing instability in the need for infrastructure to deal with Covid-19, in the form of masks, hand gloves, and hand sanitizers to hazmat clothes for doctors and health workers.
With Noble in action and Grateful values in the STRONG culture, although affected, PNEP is committed to contributing to CSR with the PNEP Fighting Covid-19 program in East Java, Kalimantan, and Papua.
